Dr. Wooleyhand enjoys hiking and spending time with her two dogs (Rowan and Axel) and her cat (Bodhi). Outside of work, she is also an avid photographer and loves to travel.

Dr. Wooleyhand is a Maryland native who completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of Maryland and her doctorate at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Her areas of interest include advanced wound care, gastroenterology, and transfusion medicine. She received advanced certification in minimally invasive procedures (endoscopy, laparoscopy, foreign body retrieval, etc.) from the University of Tennessee. She is currently working towards completing her American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) advanced board certification. Outside of work, she is an avid photographer, enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her two dogs (Rowan and Axel) and cat (Bodhi)
