Our founders opened Pet+E.R. in order to support Baltimore area veterinarians and pet parents by providing emergency and critical care services after normal office hours. To this day we remain focused on our founders' mission. We know how important seconds can be in an emergency, which is why we strive to serve our community by practicing cutting-edge medicine any time you need us, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Both of our locations are certified by the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (VECCS) as Level-II facilities, an accolade awarded to veterinary hospitals that provide expert care around the clock.

Pet+E.R. Emergency & Critical Care Internship Program
Pet+E.R. accepts applications for five Emergency and Critical Care specialty internship candidates each year. Pet+E.R. is a VECCS Level II certified 24-hour emergency and critical care hospital that shares a facility with multiple specialists (internal medicine, oncology, surgery, cardiology, dentistry, neurology, and ophthalmology).
