The emergency vet team at Pet+E.R. is active in the community and shares a common goal of wanting to help others. That's why we regularly partner with some of the most trusted and credible organizations in the Baltimore-Washington area to provide critical care for pets.

We Exist for This Community

Pet+E.R. donates thousands of dollars in sponsorship funds each year towards events benefiting the Maryland SPCA, BARCS, Show Your Soft Side, the Baltimore Humane Society, Animal Advocates of Howard County, and more. We also work closely with dozens of local rescue groups to provide emergency medical care for the pets in their care, providing discounts and volunteer time that make their life-saving missions easier to accomplish. Look for us at community events throughout the season, including the Maryland SPCA March for the Animals, Show Your Soft Side's Pawject Runway, BARCStoberfest, and as the official sponsor of the Baltimore Orioles Pet Calendar!

In 2015, Pet+E.R. became the exclusive emergency medical provider for the Maryland SPCA's shelter and foster animals. Pet+E.R. and the Maryland SPCA partner to save lives at the annual March for the Animals and work together to train volunteers and shelter employees on how to handle emergency medical needs. Pet+E.R. offers training to the SPCA staff and volunteers doctor time to perform much needed spay and neuter surgeries on Maryland SPCA shelter pets.
