Who We Are
Pet+E.R. has been providing Maryland pet owners with expert veterinary emergency and critical care services since opening as Animal Emergency Center in 1986. Since then our animal hospital has changed names and expanded. To date, Pet+E.R.'s hospitals are the only two 24-hour VECCS-certified critical care facilities in Maryland. This certification reflects the level of excellence we provide to our patients, 24/7.
Open Positions at Pet+E.R.
Pet+E.R. Emergency & Critical Care Internship Program
Pet+E.R. accepts applications for five Emergency and Critical Care specialty internship candidates each year. Pet+E.R. is a VECCS Level II certified 24-hour emergency and critical care hospital that shares a facility with multiple specialists (internal medicine, oncology, surgery, cardiology, dentistry, neurology, and ophthalmology).
